Chaos Engine, The - Commodore 64
"The Chaos Engine is a top-down run and gun video game developed by The Bitmap Brothers and originally published by Renegade Software in March 1993.This new release for C64 is similarly set in a steampunk Victorian age in which one or two players must battle the hostile creations of the eponymous Chaos Engine across four landscapes and ultimately defeat it and its deranged inventor".
The demo is a bit rough — letting players walk out of bounds, for instance — and only covers the first stage of the game and the demo ends just before the level 1 exit gate.
