Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved - Playstation 4

Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions is the fourth game in the arcade shooter series. It is made by a new developer, but with a large group of people who were involved with the previous games. The biggest novelty is the introduction of 3D environments, sometimes only aesthetically in actually flat environments, but also with complete 3D levels where the ship moves around a cube or globe in any direction.

The main game mode is called Adventure. It offers a level path with additional levels unlocked gradually and different game modes such as Boss (defeat the boss before time expires), Checkpoint (clear waves for extra time to reach the target score), Deadline (reach the target score before time runs out), Evolved (reach the target score with only three lives) and Titan (reach the target score with only one life). Each level has three targets based on performance to earn stars and these are required to keep unlocking new levels. In the boss mode for instance defeating the boss as quickly as possible is not sufficient, you need to get many kills in the provided time to reach a high score as well.
